Hello CSI Members,,

I am both humbled and honored to serve as your incoming President of CSI South Florida Chapter for the 2026–2027 term. Since joining CSI in 2017, I have experienced firsthand the incredible community, professional growth, and industry insight this organization provides.

As President, my primary goal is to build upon our strong foundation from previous presidents and reinforce CSI's core values by providing an engaging, accessible, and supportive platform for all our members to learn, network, and excel.
Focus Areas for 2026–2027
Our Board of Directors is dedicated to the following key initiatives this year:

●    Elevating CSI’s Industry Presence: Expanding our reach and reinforcing CSI as a top resource for construction specifications and technical information across our region.
●    Connecting the Built Environment: Encouraging collaboration among all industry stakeholders—including architects, engineers, contractors, facility managers, and product representatives.
●    Knowledge Sharing & Technical Excellence: Delivering high-quality, relevant Continuing Education (CEU) programming and maintaining a reliable pool of local specifications experts.
●    Advocating for Professional Certification: Encouraging members to earn and maintain CSI credentials (CDT®, CCS®, CCCA®, CCPR™), promoting the gold standard of competence in our industry.

As we embark on this 2026–2027 chapter year together, I encourage each of you to get involved—whether by attending a monthly meeting, joining a committee, or inviting a colleague. Together, let us create a lasting impact within our chapter and across the AEC community.

Calling all Design & Construction students! The CSI South Florida Chapter is pleased to announce our 2024 Design Buildability Scholarship!!

Our scholarship seeks to highlight the integration of constructability and specifications into the design concepts. At least one student will be awarded up to $1,000 and one group will be awarded up to $2,500. The number and the total value of scholarships may vary from year to year based on the number of applications and available funds. 

The deadline to submit your application is JUNE 30th, 2024!

Join the Construction Specifications Institute South Florida Chapter for this great cause benefiting the Kristi House Children's Advocacy Center for children who have been victims' of abuse and sex trafficking. The CSI South Florida Chapter will aid in stocking their pantry with needed items such as Canned Food, Sealed Boxes, and Toiletries to help stabilize the families so that they can focus on getting better and having a Happy Thanksgiving!  Please bring your items to any of these participating locations from now until November 17th, 2023:
